O HAI THAR!
this is an “about me” post. 
so… about me:

• My name is Kaylyn
• I’m 20 (turning 21 in exactly a week from now)
• Single, and mingling (LULZ)
• Currently living in Århus, Denmark (pronounced kinda like “OH-hoos”) for a study abroad year
• I have an adorable German roommate that I talk about quite a bit on here
• I’m moving back to California in 2 months
• I’m from a po-dunk little fishing village in the central coast of California called Morro Bay 
• My home university San Francisco State
• I study Linguistics (grammar, syntax, phonology, morphology, all that fun stuff)
• I really love Linguistics, but will probably go on to do a masters in English Literature
• I want to do my masters somewhere in Europe (probably in the UK or Sweden)
• I hate using caps outside of uni work, so this thing will be filled with uncapitalised proper nouns and beginnings of sentences (making an exception here for some reason though…)
• CAPS LOCK IS LOVE
• I am easily obsessed with things, for example:
• Things I am currently obsessed with:
• Anything Doctor Who/David Tennant/Matt Smith
• How awesome Iron Man 2 is
• Guys who wear jackets/cardigans with elbow pads
• Pesto (the food)
• Sitting in the sun, listening to Vampire Weekend or Lady Gaga
• Things I am always obsessed with:
• Star Trek (The Original Series and XI)
• David Bowie
• Kurt Vonnegut
• Purple (the colour)
• Elbow (the band)
• I have one tattoo on my left forearm of Kurt Vonnegut’s signature/self portrait, and have about 3 more planned
• I’m an asthmatic, I have an astigmatism, and I’m near sighted, so there was pretty much no way I was getting out of being a nerd
• As a guy I kinda dated put it: I am a “chubby brunette,” and I’m okay with it  XD
• I hate snow
• I love rain
• Cooking is fun
• I’m an “avid” knitter, and have been knitting for 6 or 7 years
• I’m crafty (in the non Beastie Boys sense)
• BITCHES DON’T KNOW ‘BOUT MY BORK
• I tend to ramble.
